Does anyone have a problem saving the above game with current 4.12 firmware on AK2? Everytime the game is trying to save the data it hangs with "Saving data. Do not turn the power off" until I reset it (after which the game does seem to be saved though).

This is and old bug, you need to hold down A while loading to use the old 4.07 engine. or just use AKAIO and be done with it.

Is it the same solution for AK2i (I actually use it)?

for AK2i, hold down A, public releases of AKAIO will cause bricking.
