Hacking 4.2 Hacking, freezes

I've been following the simplistic guide to hack a 4.2 wii.

Now when i get to the step of putting the sd card in and going to the system menu and going to data then channels. The wii just freezes.

I tried the step with the SD card in and then tried it after i pressed channels and put the sd card in.

The wii just freezes and won't load hackmii to install homebrew.

any ideas?

you need to click the little sd card on the main menu

Does that mean the new bannerbomb for 4.2 should be accessed from the "little sd card" on the main menu? I was lost last night after upgrading to 4.2. Luckily I still have a working HBC, so I just restored everything from there.

yes cause nintendo fixed the old hole bannerbomb used to use but left the sd card menu one open will probably be fixed with next update from nintendo
