Hacking 4.1 Updating Question

K so this should be a pretty easy question

Is it safe to update to 4.1?

I'm on 4.0u
Im softmodded with Softmii 2.1.1
I have preloader and bootmii installed. cIOS Rev 13b
I have some illegal wads installed as well. But anyways is it safe to update?
And if it is should I use Waninkokos or THE BIG N updater?

EDIT: Yeah so i got a new question lol. I might seem like a total dumb ass. But anyways I see people say that they have bootmii and a NAND back up? What's the difference? Can't I just install bootmii as boot2 and thats my back up?

Doesn't effect the hacks and you don't really need it unless you want the video in Wii Sports Resorts to stop after one play. Nintendo didn't bother to counter the hacking shit, they just wanted to release it as there was a bug in WSR.
