Nice work but crash my PC ("explorer.exe" proccess, on Windows 8 x64)

Greetings

Really cool thing, installed without errors on first attempt (win7 ult x64).

I uploaded 1.1 version: http://no-info.no-ip.info/3ds/

Code:
1.1

  * Fixed thumbnailer not working on Windows XP.
  * Fixed extension not installing into directories with spaces in filenames.
  * Changed property names to include the text 3DS so that they don't clutter similar names.
  * Added support for 3dz files.
  * Added some missing icons.

Pox: I just did a quick wc and more than 50% of code is windows specific. I might do a port to Linux in future (I'm pretty sure it will be a port to a specific DE like gnome or kde, not to just linux), but you won't call it a build.

gamesquest1: please elaborate. titleID and save format are what..?

satel: which games? The DB right now is copied from gamefaqs; If it's mentioned in gamefaqs, it's likely that the icon will be there.

Vengenceonu: the latest verison fixed a bug when it won't install into directory with spaces in it. Maybe that will help you. Try moving it somewhere with more simple name. Alternatively maybe you're installing a x32 versio when you have x64 system.

Greetings
For me it did nothing but crash explorer.exe every few seconds, so i had to run uninstall.bat via taskman. I´m on Windows 8.0 x64 and use a modified uxtheme.dll for custom-themes if that matters in any way...

I hope to see Windows8-support if possible

title ID is ....well the titleID, this would be handy for people wanting to know what save is for what game as gateway uses the titleID to name the games save e.g NSMB2 is "000400000007AF00"

and save type would be handy so people know if they can trim the game or not without having to go search online if its a card1 game or card2 (e.g pokemon and animal crossing are card2 and shouldnt be trimmed...but there is a few more games that are card2 also)

what did you do to get it running

I just ran install.bat and waited a couple of seconds.
I was on an administrator account. In case of an error make sure you unzip the .zip in a folder and run from there. NEVER EVER run software that modifies windows files from a zip without unzipping first.

Well, installing on Windows 8 worked just fine. I can't reproduce your problem, sorry.

gamesquest1: I'll add titleID, I think I know where it is in NCCH; as for card1 or card2, I don't know how to tell them apart so maybe later.

1.2 is up, changelog will be in first post.

This might fix the issues with pictures not displaying because I possibly messed up big time with 1.1
