Gaming 3DS vs 3DS (DS games...)

OK, yes, we are all tired of the debate about the DS graphics on the 3DS, were they updated or weren't they. So far, people have shown two photos and asked which is better, before or after the update. I am going to do the same, but with a difference, I'm not telling you which is which. Simply vote which is better, top or bottom. Later, I will reveal which is which and we will see who is right.

Bottom screen looks better to me.

"Press Start" looks better, and less bars visible.

I bet that that is the DS screen, not the 3DS one.

You don't know that.

I could have voted for the bottom, or the top. You wouldn't be able to tell; now will I tell. Let's just wait and see what Spinal says after this is all over; no need to debate over the choices we picked.

It's down to preference IMHO

In the pictures
- the top screen (to me) looks very slightly blurry, especially on the black around the 'Touch to start', but despite this it looks better than the one on the bottom since it 'blends in' slightly
- However the colours on the bottom look better and not 'washed out'

So I would guess it'll depend on the game you're playing
- If it was something like Mario - more cartoony - then the sharper colours would be better
- For a game like Brother in Arms - you want graphics that colours blend in better to make a more realistic enviroment

Since most things look blurry to me anyway (slightly shortsighted but don't wear glasses all the time) - I've voted 'Top'

EDIT: for all we know - this could be a double bluff - both screens are of the same 3DS, just taken @ slightly different times. The ambient light level changed slightly & has affected the camera exposure when taking the photo

There's plenty of substance, it means I'm in full agreement.
Sometimes the smallest sentences equate to the greater context.

Barely any difference, but the top seems a tiny bit sharper. The colors are darker too.

So far, 17:5 that the top image is the better one, cool.

You can tell there is a difference on the right hand side of the castle on the walls near the windows. the top one it looks more spread out whereas the bottom one looks more compact and imo clearer and better looking

So i think the bottom one looks better. But reguardless of which is which. its not amazingly diffrent and i really did need to look HARD at a still image of a picture to even see that. Once your actually playing the game its not like your gonna pause it and stare and the image for 30seconds...
