good question!
it seems that no...
If not then download http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=22 and http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=27541
I don't know if it's necessary to download both of them but I don't think it would be any harm to have them both

I don't think that application has anything to do with the 3ds converter :blink:

Hello, first thanks so much for this app' !
I have a problem when changing fps (with all versions i tried): even when i write 24, the final video is 20 fps... do you know where that comes from and how to solve it ?

Sorry for my English, I'm from Paris...

Thanks again !

net framework is all active now but it still doesnt work... :(
and also a message error trying to open ffmepg.exe... not the good windows it says...
strange...

no... still have the net framework error... :(
i think the problrm come from ffmpeg.exe... i use the ffmpege from V.3 and it doesnt crash..

I'm trying to add keep aspect ratio option, but need help again :lol:

To keep a correct aspect ratio is needed to add padding by this command -vf pad=width:height:x:y:color

I'm making tests and I don't know it don't work.

In line commands with a .bat file it works, but in autohoykeys not :/

In source v1.0, I need change this:

;2D
if 2D
..........................
..........................
if (Advanced = 0)
{
Run, %Comspec% /min /c title Converting && ffmpeg.exe -threads %Pcores% -i "%VideoPath%" -s %res% -aspect 2:1 -r 20 -vcodec mjpeg -map 0:0 -map 0:%AudStr% -qscale %QualityUD% -acodec adpcm_ima_wav -ac 2 -vol %Volume% "temp.avi" > "%A_Temp%\psize.txt" 2>>&1,, Hide

{

to this (this values are fixed, is only to try it works):

;2D
if 2D
..........................
..........................
if (Advanced = 0)
{
Run, %Comspec% /min /c title Converting && ffmpeg.exe -threads %Pcores% -i "%VideoPath%" -vf "scale=400:208,pad=400:240:0:16:000000" -r 20 -vcodec mjpeg -map 0:0 -map 0:%AudStr% -qscale %QualityUD% -acodec adpcm_ima_wav -ac 2 -vol %Volume% "temp.avi" > "%A_Temp%\psize.txt" 2>>&1,, Hide

Not work...why? :(

When it works (-vf "scale=400:208,pad=400:240:0:16:000000") is changed with the correct values

no... still have the net framework error... :(

Download the correct version of FFmpeg for your architecture (you can check with system properties my computer->system properties->system type)
extract the .zip go to /bin copy ffmpeg to the same directory as 3DSVideo.exe

One question...are you using Sijjar's converter or are you using Spinal's converter and asking support in Sifjar's thread because after analyzing a little I thought that was the problem from the beginning.

'm actually using Sijjars v.0.30 wich works perfectly... only thing : the videos dont begin at 0:00:00 (something like 1s is crop)
v.1.00 produce videos but the 3DS dont recognize them... sad... i would like to boost sound...
Spinal converter works now wit ffmpeg but dont convert in 4:3 and have an awfull sound...

First second is cut because it's usually blank and it seems to cause issues. If anyone ever bothered to test the alternative fix I posted a few pages back, I could have implemented it and have the full video, but I never received any report about whether it worked or not, so I didn't bother.

BTW, anyone want to make an icon for 3DS Video? I would try it myself but I'm really not creative at all. Basically, I'd like a .ICO (preferably containing a 16x16 and a 32x32 version of the icon), containing no copyrighted images, and if possible post a preview in a "normal" image format (e.g. PNG) in this thread. Thanks :)
