3ds us game on eua 3ds

so i bought a us 3ds game and i didn't know if my 3ds was going to be eua or any other region and i didn't know that there is something called region lock until i got my 3ds i tryed installing luma3ds but the 3ds i got is old so i couldn't know how to do it and i tryed many methods but non of them worked so if anyone can help me to play the game or instal luma3ds cos i just got my 3ds (btw the game is pokemon omega ruby)
