Hacking .3ds to .cia converter

For those people who have 3Ds ROMs in .3ds format, you came to the right place. There is no need to install programs into your computer. You just need the rom, a custom firmware, and the sd card

I do not own any of the tools listed here.

Step 1. Download GodMode9 here: https://github.com/d0k3/GodMode9/releases

Step 2: extract GodMode9.firm into sd/luma/payloads. If you don’t have the payloads folder create it.

Step 3: extract the gm9 folder into the root of your SD card.

Step 4: copy your rom to sd/gm9/in

Step 5: boot your console and press start button immediately after boot.

Step 6: when your are on the godmode9 screen, press home button. Navigate with the dpad into scripts, gm9megascript, miscellaneous, .3ds to .cia converter.

Step 7: select your rom and conversion will start. This can take a while.

Step 8: when conversion is ready a .cia file will be available at sd/gm9/out

Step 9: reboot your console

Step 10: open fbi or any cia installer. Please note that the cia will be in sd/gm9/out

There you go install it and enjoy!

OK but pretty much every cfw and gm9 guide tells you this information already plus people have in the past already posted threads on here like yours above lol.

Ignore all the shitposters, OP. This thread came up for me in a google search too, when all I was getting was guides on downloading stuff to a PC and having to use xorpads and other nonsense. This is so much easier. Thanks so much OP!
