Hello, I tried to instill the homebrew laucher on my 3DS, but unfortunately it didn't work and now it only starts with the SD card ... I have to load the backup with Start + Power but it still doesn't work ... if I want to start without an SD card, only the blue LED lights up for 1 sec.

It's because boot.firm is on SD card not in nand

  4. If you are prompted to fix the RTC date&time, press (A) to do so, then set the date and time, then press (A) to continue
  5. Press (Home) to bring up the action menu
  6. Select “Scripts…”
  7. Select “GM9Megascript”
  8. Select “Scripts from Plailect’s Guide”

@lone_wolf323
is my system completely broken?
do I have to set it up again or how?
Please don't cut corners when following the guide. Make sure you have all the needed files (boot.firm, boot.3dsx and everything from the finalizing page).
https://3ds.hacks.guide/de_DE/finalizing-setup.html ← German version – just in case you prefer it. I never read the translation and don't know if it's any good.
If you came here after following some questionable video on YouTube or whatever: Avoid such video tutorials in the future. They are often bad and/or outdated and/or missing important steps.

If you have any further questions or problems: Just ask.

Good luck and have fun!

It makes no sense to point to Section VI if we cannot be sure everything (including GodMode9 and it's scripts) is already on the SD. "lol can't read!!11!" How is a beginner supposed to know what files should be be on the SD when they are told to start with Section VI?

Just start over from the very beginning and follow the guide step by step.
Why? Apparently B9S is already installed.

they need to have a strong line up on the launch titles too. I think they should move metroid prime 4 to the next console because by now it has been quite a while and there's no release date scheduled yet

  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
well as far as metroid prime 4 is concerned, the next system probably is similar enough to the current gen they can probably easily just slap it onto a next gen cart and call it good :P
