    What?

I know the 3DS can play music regardless of audio settings.

    Oh okay, [IMG] nice find.

It ups the sound quality and volume of songs.

I wanted people to go and do it first then be surprised by the results -__-

So is it actually better to put the 3DS sound settings (not just the Sound channel) to Stereo instead of Surround?

Hmm, nice find. Since you don't really need surround for music this is the perfect way to improve the music! And it leaves the rest of the system's sounds in surround so no needing to swap each time. [IMG]

The difference shouldn't be in volume. Just general sound quality

ahaha, i noticed this too before reading this topic, but i thought surround should have better quality than stereo, i set it to stereo and now i can hear the sound better.

Hmm, yes if I listen closely and compare both it sounds like stereo is less like a hall effect or something, but still the change seems to be really minor but thats just me
