Hardware 3DS Problem: Black Line on top screen

Hey temp
I bought a 3ds and it arrived yesterday. It worked great until this mornin. I was playing ar games, until the top screen showed a 'black' line, 1 pixel wide, and all the pixels long (from left to right). Im hoping i can exchange it with walmart, since i bought it online and i dont want to ship it back, rather goto my local walmart.

Wow, there are so many 3DS users that are reporting dead pixels and stuff like that. Anyway you should take it back to walmart and exchange it.

im not hating on the 3ds or anything, but i think ninty could of done better on checking their prouduct before selling it.... i hope i can exchange it

I also can't see anything. If it's there, it's probably blurred out by your camera.

With all the problems people seem to be having with this thing lately, I believe you. Go get it exchanged.

Are you saying it's gone now? I'd say just keep it if it's fine now, but whatever. The video was really bad at demonstrating the problem...you should have just displayed a white picture or something. I skipped to the end when you were using photo mode (which was the only time it was visible).

we all know there are a lot of defective units out there.

but you said it yourself it was ok until a certain period in time. which means you've used it
for a while before the line appeared.

delivery/your usage(not sure how you handle your stuff) can be a fault here since as you said it worked fine at first.

I couldn't really see it, obviously if it's there all the time, it's a problem with the screen. Exchange it!
