Hardware 3DS Power saves Pokemon Y problem

ok here it goes I have a 3DS Powersaves Pro (USA) and a Pokemon Y cart (also USA) everytime I try to use the Program (windows 7 version on a windows 7 machine) it does the hardware not found/card read error cycle it worked before (able to put codes on in the past) but now it's doing that I cleaned the cart with rubbing alchohol still nothing changed USB cords still nothing HALP

You might want to try using a different cable or blowing in the usb port it will happen less this happened to me btw
