Hey guys,

Has anybody found a way to hack 3DS play coins? I don't feel like shaking my 3DS and changing the date.

I've been very inactive in the console community lately, so I don't know if this was found yet.

Go walking. It's good for you.

Hah. I typically walk at least 3 miles a day. My college campus is very big. It's just a hassle to change the date, and it fucks with my other games and street passes and what not.

I was thinking that 3DS play coins was based on data on the SD?

I could be wrong.

Wrong. It's saved from the system memory and it's unerasable nor hackable as of this post.

I'll believe you. In the mean time, are there any programs out there that can read the SD card file structure? I took a look and everything is labeled by number.

No. There are programs to read channels (careful note: NOT emulate) after they are decrypted (which most users cannot decrypt yet).

If you don't feel like shaking you could attach your 3ds to an electric fan with duct tape. I would advise to use a protective case. Tucking your 3ds into the inside of your sock (next to your ankle not under your foot) and shaking your leg with your ankle works faster than bare hands in my opinion.

No. He's talking about those dreams where he's working on the railroad, all the live-long day,

Right, THERE IS A HACK!!(sort of  )

Go to options:

go to date:

Go to tomorrow:

After doing that(and select okay) go back to date and switch back to today!

Do this as many times as you like and get 300 coins a day!

It'd be nice if they lifted the 10 coin limit since a lot of things are demanding them now, especially Streetpass Quest 2.
Something like 1000 steps for the first 10 coins, and another coin at the next 1000 steps.

The restriction is really getting in the way now.

Not really, most people do over 5000 steps a day (even if its just around your house) so you should be able to get atleast 5 coins unless there's something really wrong with you.

But knowing Ms it'll just be windows with pre-installed Gamepass streams
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
ROG Ally already has gamepass w actual pc gameplay from the device, so we'll see.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Gamepass, Steam, Epic all on 1 handheld would be a dream.
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
    The SteamDeck?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Steamdeck weak performance anymore, and it doesn't officially support gamepass, have to do workaround to get it.
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
It works okay any high performance portable will be $600+

Latest Switch 2 leak says it will have a LCD, not OLED, run most games 40fps max, and only be 1.5 tflops handheld, 3 tflops docked. That's less than the steamdeck at 1.71 handheld, 3.1 docked.

  • console @ console:
Switch 2 LCD is about like TN type compare to old Nintendo Switch LCD before. Also games running on 40 FPS look not good for us and people. 60 FPS are best for normal everyday gaming. That's weird. I think should not buy Switch 2 because it like Switch 1.5 something like that. Little improve but not major improve. I think going to skip it.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea that's just rumored but not sounding that impressive for a next gen upgrade. Of course Nintendo is very good at optimization of their games to play well, but for a $400+ 2025 console I expected a little better. Even a $299 2020 Xbox Series S has 4 tflops.

  • Anrei @ Anrei:
I thought it was supposed to be on par with an xbox 1 in power, why is it running most things at 40fps lol
  • Anrei @ Anrei:
in terms of power I thought it was a 2.0 compared to the switch man 40fps sounds whack is there poor optimisation or something?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Just rumors/ leaks. We will find out in a few weeks. But yea prob way underpowered to save battery, for longer playtimes, like Switch 1 is.
