Is there any way of loading 3ds games on firmaware 10.7(i think) ...... without buying gateway or another flash cart?
On 10.7, you'll need
Ninjhax (Copy of Cubic Ninja) or
oot3dhax (Copy of OOT + Powersaves) - As there is no free method to downgrading to 9.2 to get CFW setup.
If you just want to play .3ds files though and not deal with downgrading and CFW, Sky3DS+ is probably your only option. You'll still need to get private headers to play online.
If you want a Gateway, you'll have to downgrade to use their card.
If you decide on CFW, then this is the guide most people recommend:

I have a monster hunter edition n3ds, if I were to downgrade to install a9lh + cfw, would I lose my save file?
You could probably use a save manager on the Homebrew Launcher to backup all your saves. Though I am not very knowledgeable on this.
Anyways, it's recommended to format your system memory prior to doing the downgrade, however you can take the risk and downgrade without the format, but if you end up on a soft-brick you'll be forced to update to 11.0, which can only be downgrade via hard mod. Link:

Hi !
I'm back for my friend. So, i've helped him in order to setup SysNand + Luma3DS RedNand. He didn't want to try a9lh for the moment, it's up to him. But now he would like to update his RedNand (of course) to 11.0, but he's looking in fix his payload. He has a 10.7 RedNAND with menuhax and he has this payload on his N3DS :
ropbinpayload_menuhax_EUR12288_new3ds
any way to rename / download a new one ?
Thanks o/
That payload is for Menuhax, which relies on the 9.2 sysNAND. Because you should never update sysNAND, changing//renaming the payload does not apply to him. If he installs the Homebrew Launcher on his redNAND though, he'll need to download the payload for that.
I have sysNand on 9.2 rxTools on 11.0 and I don't have an Autoboot, means when I start my O3DS I have to visit a website to launch rxTools...
Now I want Arm9, where do I start? Can I keep my Games on EmuNand? Please help a Newbie
I would say, just backup your current emuNAND and your current Nintendo3DS folder, then start from scratch with the guide. When you get to the Part 5, Section IV, and it asks you to restore emunand_original.bin, I would just use your rxtools emunand backup. Then by the end of Part 5, Section V, copy your old Nintendo3DS folder that corresponded with your rxtools emunand.

However, may I ask why you don't have an autoboot setup? Most of the old guides mentioned how to do this and suggested it. I wouldn't recommend A9LH if you're one to rush things, as the guide for newbies can be quite long. I personally take 1-2 hours to do it now, but first timers can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours. I took 3-4~ hours on my first run btw. Also, I hope I didn't come of as mean or anything.
Anyways, hope I was able to answer most questions you guys and gals had! Have a lovely day~!
