Homebrew 3ds Mii name Exceeding Character limit?

Hey guys,

Just a quick question, can i exceed my mii's character name with some kind of tool? i have luma CFW on my 3ds, but i have never found anything like this.

If there is such a tool, will others be able to see an exceeded name in Mario Kart 7 online for example?

Well, uh, I don't know of such a tool, I believe they do it manually. But I'd rather not go online, see if it's exploitable. Always good to have some, and I believe that's how OoT3D works. Don't quote me on that though.

You could try making Mii's with names that you know in hex and try to locate them. If you can extend them beyond the character limit, let us know what happens.

No you can't. The mii_name is of size [0xB] -> 11 (UTF-16) characters long, and you can't go beyond that.
