Yes... Just use this and the MrCheeze's "extdata dump/restore" app for that (In OP is said about, indeed). But, possibly you'll need to install a *Hax (to get the HBL) or load another CFW, in order to use the MrCheeze's app.

Can this be used to share official Miis like the Iwata one? I've been wanting to get that, but I missed it two years ago. I have a custom one, but it's just not the same.

For that I guess it could be easier through Mii Plaza Streetpass/Spotpass with someone who has that Iwata Mii or, maybe, looking for some QR code on the net... However, editing, looking and copying the extdata info about could be possible too, but on a harder way, though.

Special Miis cannot be shared I thought? You also can't make QR codes of them. All the available ones are recreatins, I'd like to have the official one. Probably the only Mii I actually care about, really. (besides mine since I need to use something in games)

Well, I guess you have almost all reason about ... But, about Special Miis' QRs isn't all certain, 'cause there are some specific QRs on the net with that kind of Miis (however, about Iwata one, seems there's nothing, indeed).

On the other hand, this app directly cannot do that you want: extract/copy an specific Mii from a console to another; only allows you to edit your personal Miis.

Or, almost: it changed the skin color from my personal Mii into the brighter one, but already changed back into the right skin tone.

@Slattz Should definitely be possible (but I'm currently unsure of the side effects (assuming you use an NNID))

I don't have the hex addresses on hand (or the file), but if you're comfortable with a hex editor it should be easy.

It should be the first Mii (Mii data sections begin with an 03) and the name is stored in UTF-16 (big endians (basically means that the byte order is reversed)).

Then just update your checksum, which is outlined in many threads (have a look around the tutorials or other sections of the 3DS forums).

Good luck, and if you need help, just google around with UTF-16, big endians, or hex editing. It's relatively simple.

I deleted it, since I can't use a cmd from another exe (I'm learning C#, but it's very difficult).
But I can rewrite it I guess, if you want.
