Yeah, I've tried all of that already. I really just want that gold menu for some reason, but I guess it's just not worth the time to try to get, lol. I'm sick right now anyways, anymore of this and my head will only hurt worse.

Mine isn't a gold menu on my 3ds but when he streetpasses other 3ds's his menu is gold to them. I'm not sure if everyone's is like that or if some people actually have the gold menu on their own 3ds.

For some reason Windows has decided to make it impossible to access the desktop via cmd prompt. It was working a few days ago and I managed to change a couple of consoles to have gold miis. Today, however, trying exactly the same thing, it tells me it's not an accepted command. Anyway, just put the desktop files and the CFL_DB.dat into PC\users\username and it will work from there.

I just checked on my consoles and on any console where any kind of update has been carried out, the gold menu is removed.

Emunand 9,5, updated mii plaza - no gold menu
sysnand 9.2, no mii plaza update - gold menu
9.5 sysnand transferred from emunand, mii plaza updated - no gold menu

Not sure if it's the 9.5 firmware or the updated mii plaza, but the gold menu disappears at some point on the home console. Note that you have to upate the firmware in order to update the plaza, so the same thing really. Unless, the plaza was already updated perhaps.

The gold menu wasn't really a big deal to me. I just wanted him to be special to other people and he does that, so I am ok with it. I was just posting my results for the person asking about the gold menu. The only thing I kind of miss is being able to receive and give fantastic ratings using the special mii.

its not a spider exploit, you need to have Cubic ninja exploit installed/working on 9.2/less, or 4.5 CFW or have Gateway...

I deleted all Miis except my main one, made a new mii(with copying and sharing off) and used memdump.bin from https://gbatemp.net/threads/spider-arcode.383937/
I opened the RAM dump with HxD and searched for "CFOG" as a text string.
Find the 94. It should be in the same place as in this image

Take note of the address beside, in this case it's 00895A90 for me. Open ar2bin.exe (from the arcode thread) and put the address inside. Add a 2 in front of the address, (example: 20895A90) put a space after the address, and type 00000014.

Save it as arcode.cht on your SD card (remember to put arcode.bin too) and on the 3DS, open the mii maker then go to http://bit.ly/1LgLvSG (http://dukesrg.no-ip.org/3ds/rop/?LoadCode.dat&arcode.bin
Once the browser crashes go back to Mii maker, favorite the Mii and you're done. Relaunch mii maker and see if it's permanent.

If you still see normal pants after relaunching mii maker
Open mii maker, execute the arcode again.
Go back, favorite the mii.
Go into edit and change the sharing to on and copying to on and save.
At this point it should block you from going back to homescreen.
Just click on the power button and click home and go back into Mii maker. It should still be golden.

And yes, it does work with streetpass

well since making a max(300) playcoins cheat seems impossible, i started working on a active Mii cheat, basically the idea is that whenever you run it youll have an active mii that will give you a new puzzle piece and go on Find Mii Quests... the code it self turns out to be huge so it will take a day or half to complete...
if successful ill need someone with a Legit/official Nintendo gold panned mii in there mii plaza, unused and waiting to go on quests and give you a puzzle piece, so if you have it please consider making a dump with the ar codes exploit and sent me the FCRAM.bin file in a PM...

What values did you change to make turn a blue pants mii gold? And were you able to use the transfer the mii back to the original system and use it for mii plaza?

I think the Hex values change in a system-to-system basis... I just followed the tutorial posted above, changing these parts:

1) On 3DSXL 9.5.0-23U, I created a second Mii, and sent him into my 2DS.
2) On 2DS 9.5.0-22U' Mii Maker, that Mii become my second one.

After here, I followed the tutorial posted above by jernk, until this part:

"Once the browser crashes go back to Mii maker, favorite the Mii..."

After favoriting the Mii, he got the Golden pants. Then I tried to edit him more, but since that Mii originally is from the other 3DS, doing this crashed the system, and the 2DS rebooted.

Instead, I just returned into Mii Maker first screen, and sent the Gold-changed-Mii back into the original system (the 3DS XL). This way, I can use him with golden pants into the Mii Plaza from the original system, even being a updated one.

Probably... When I did the process, even with the transferred Mii, I saw the "94" in HxD.

When you created the Mii in the first 3DS, before transfer him into the second 3DS, did you turn sharing/copying off for him? This is needed too.

And, in the DS where you are doing this process, I assume there's only two Mii, right? (the original one, and the transferred one at the second slot on Mii Maker)
