Misc 3DS Kills my WiFi

I have a New 3DS XL and whenever it connects to my wifi nothing else can connect to the wifi
Please Help

I would set up a different access point just for the 3DS, the 3DS uses wireless G so it has to slow down the network each time it uses the internet.

I have a router setup as a homepass and its working alone on it but not sure if I can use it for online game play because the routers mac cycles constantly

I just setup a wifi network just for my 3ds under guest wifi and even though it's the same router it works great
