Why is a system update an issue if the 3DS is hacked?
:/
It could be an issue if an eshop title is needed (maybe for a save exploit of some kind) to run the hack? Let's say it's released, Nintendo quickly releases an update fixing the vulnerability, you get the news too late and try to get the hack for yourself. You have to update to use the eshop to buy the needed game, no hack for you. :P Unless the game was already owned of course.

Hopefully the spreading of news won't backfire on us. The sooner Nintendo knows there IS a vulnerability...
Nah their ninjas are always scouting the net, just look at how they caught the guy who leaked NSMBWii before launch just by reading these forums. They know more than we think.
Besides what are they going to do about it as long as they don't know the methods used?

Anyways in the case this is true then, great, I kept my original 3DS after buying an XL for this very reason. Japanese exclusives here I come!

Look at all the noobs crawling out of the woodworks.

There's hints at where the exploits lie within the chat logs being posted here. Nintendo could see that and have one of their own investigate it before an outsider figures it out fully. :S

edit: I can't wait for region exclusives to be unlocked, either. :P

Uh huh, and when I fart I make rainbows.

Seriously, hackers, if you're going to go through this progress, don't expect us to believe you until you actually release the hack. Crown3DS said the exact same shit and I think another hacking team said so they did as well, but they weren't going to release it. Don't "tease" it, just release the hack if you want any credibility. But at the same time, I hope Nintendo realizes this and shuts the loop hole before it's too late.

When guys like these have a good reputations, it's 90% likely true what they are saying and somewhat hacked the 3DS.

We are talking about people from the DS and the 3DS scene who have worked hard, not crown3ds. :P

Lets hope they can advance this progress.

Is Oz trustworthy? Nope! Remember Oz released a photo of dsi mode being hacked and said they had a big announcement? Well that announcement never came did it? Also the photo looks like total bullshit. If you've hacked something release a video not a grainy photograph

Except Oz didn't release the photo. Just spread it.

i would not fall for this false bullshit... sorry unless there's a YT video of it i'm not buying it.

Glad to hear you're not as naive as the rest of these half-wits. I mean, it's not like this guy (yellows8, was it?) ever did anything else for the hacking scene. I mean, it's not like he's a member of Team Twiizers and successfully exploited the DSi or anything.

Somebody wake me and DJPlace when someone more trustworthy claims to have hacked the 3DS.

Well that has got to make them a trusted source then doesn't it?
You didn't read the thread, did ya?
Some reputable hacker posted it (Sorry I forgot the name, I've actually not heard of him). Crediar also seems to support that it's the real deal.
