Homebrew 3ds.guide question

I am using the 3ds.guide to use my O3DS w/ CFW to install CFW to my N3DS XL. I just did the Sudoku Save exploit and successfully got the white screen and the failed to load boot.nds on my source 3DS. Now the guide is a little ambiguous here. Do i just power off and reboot and continue w/ the system transfer?
Also this step at the end of the save injection steps is confusing me...

• If the game is missing from the target 3DS or has an error about corrupted or inaccessible save data, follow this troubleshooting guide

I assume that step is for after the system transfer? It just seems like it's in the wrong place. I don't see how would it be on the target 3DS before the transfer takes place.

that means if you mess up the injection with godmode 9 anyways there is no need for dsiware
