I remember once participating in a ComputerCraft programming contest, and it was pretty good! Why not have the same for the 3DS?

(for those who are wondering what's the prize: most possibly fame if you post your finished game in the homebrew section
)
You have to make a (small) board game which features colorful shapes.
Requirements:
- game timer
- score system
- touch controls
Extra points:
- sound (you get the same amount of points if you use stock sound effects, don't need to make your own)
- multiplayer (you don't need to have multiple systems for this, you can make it multiplayer on only one system too)
- leaderboard (storing it in a file is perfectly fine)
- savestates
The results are decided by these points:
- fun: if the game if fun to play
- replayability: if you still enjoy the game after replaying it countless times
- creativity: this doesn't mean you'll have to make hi-res textures in Photoshop, it means how well you assemble the game's assets (note: games with stock assets can get the same creativity points as a game with super-duper high-quality hand-made assets)
- quality: how stable™ is your game... if it contains glitches, it'll get a lower score (note: typos and crashes don't count, if the author doesn't fix the crashes, I'll fix those myself)
- challange (max 2 points): how challanging your game is... too hard games won't get max point for this, because it's considered as a rage game
