Well, I still haven't 1) received anything, or 2) received any reply to my emails. My order from Sept. 4 from 3ds-flashcart.com is still not listed as shipped.



This was originally supposed to be 3ds-flashcart.com, is flashcart-3ds.com just a typo? That doesn't seem to exist.

Can anyone suggest a better retailer, hopefully one that's actually in the US?

yeah it was a typo... 3ds-flashcart.com.... It seems like I will take back my words. This site seems to be inconsistent with its reliability. In fact, I just checked Gateway's official site and they no longer list the site as an official reseller. I did get my new one and it works great but it was a hassle.

I can say for sure that one of the most reliable sites I have dealt with in the past was located in canada. It is called modshipcentral.com. The price is a little higher than most places but the service is great. It has never let me down. The only reason I went with 3ds-flashcart.com was due to the lower price. However, my decision ended up costing me way more!

really baokia? From then until now??? Have you tried contacting them via e-mail. There is a guy named Jose who promptly answered my e-mails when I sent them his way...

I really feel bad for all of you guys having issues getting your flash carts. I was in your shoes not to long ago. What I can say is that if you paid via credit card, then you are perfectly within your right to cancel the order without penalty or charge after 15 days of purchase. I called my credit card company and that is what they told me. Your credit card company may have a different policy but it should have a similar buyers protection guarantee.

Jose replied saying that it need takes a week more since sep..i have keep sending them email regarding the status but they told me ship within 2 days but after a week they told me out of stock...wtf service is that zzz damn piss off

Until now they even have not send me an item.
First, they say that there were "problems in china post office" and they need to take the parcel back and resend.
They emailed me, that order were resend 26 Dec 2013 (more than month after I paid my money).
But even after this I could not track the order. 7 Jan 2014 they write me that they failed to send the order again: "We are so sorry but we will send a another tracking or re-send it to you for the security checks your item had been returned back us."

So, two month after they took my money they even have not send me the item.

They a thieves!

How did you pay? IF through paypal, I'd request a full chargeback, forcing them to pay you back. Same with a credit card payment.

I pay with credit card (they have no paypal option). I asked them to return money, but they did not respond.

If you paid with your credit card, I would contact your credit card provider (where you got the credit card from) and request a full charge-back for not receiving your item(s) and for a full fact they keep delaying it. You have the emails you received from them as evidence for theft.

Search for "paid with credit card goods not received" on google, I came up with:
You should contact the supplier first and ask for a refund. If the supplier will not refund your money and you paid using a credit or debit card, your card provider may agree to reverse the transaction. This is called a chargeback.

In order to start a chargeback, you should contact your card provider (the bank or credit card company who issued the card) immediately. Give them details of the transaction you are disputing and request that they follow it up with the supplier’s merchant. This is the bank that processes card transactions for the shop or company that debited your card.


There are numerous reasons why a sale can be charged back to the seller, and these are set out under the rules of the various credit and debit card schemes, such as Visa, MasterCard, Laser or Maestro. Each card scheme has its own set of rules for chargebacks which can vary from scheme to scheme. In order to issue these cards, your provider signs up to these rules and they must investigate any transaction you dispute.

If you request a chargeback and you are not happy with the response from your card provider, you can make a complaint.

But I'm not sure if this will be enough for my bank to chargeback. Actually I think that's not worth my time to initiate chargeback procedure with my bank for these 80$.
I just want to warn the community about 3ds-flashcart.com.
I'll be glad if my case will help someone to save their time and money :)

I finally received my Gateway after 30+ days. They sent my packet 5 days after i ordered it (3ds-flashcart)... too bad.

I ordered my Gateway from them on December 25th. Shipping has been slow, but tracking has been receiving regular updates, up until it got into the US. Now it just says, "origin post is preparing shipment" and probably will until it reaches my door. Hopefully it gets here by next week. I should've just paid the $8 extra or so for UPS shipping. Better yet, I should have just ordered from a reseller based in the US AND paid for UPS shipping. Won't be ordering from 3ds-flashcart again, in any case.

I am in a similar boat. Ordered a Gateway 3DS on December 23rd. Didn't get a tracking number until after I emailed support twice. Jose finally sent me my tracking number, which has never updated even once. I will give it three more days, because they promise delivery within 21-28 days.

NOT worth saving ten bucks. I will never again order from any site that isn't shipping from the US, unless I have absolutely no other choice.

That was probably on the fast side, as well, all things considered. In the end, you get what you pay for, whether that be in the products you buy or the shipping you choose. I'd recommend sticking to resellers within your own country if available, and UPS.

That's actually a fairly fast and normal shipping time accounting for the holiday rush. :)

I ordered a r4i save dongle from 3ds-flascart on the 31st of December and received my package today. at first I wasn't sure I was going to get anything cause my order was $19.80 and they charged me $22.79 and I emailed 2 times about it and never got a response. im just glad that I received it if it wasn't for that being the only site that I could find that had it I went with them. for all my purchases for flashcards its either realhotstuff.com or ndsgamer.com <-- based in texas

Hi, just want to write update about ordering in this shop (beginning of the story is here: http://gbatemp.net/threads/3ds-flashcart-com-positive-experience.354714/page-2#post-4880335 )

I asked them to make me refund, as was suggested in this thread (thanks to Skyrider). Their support explained me, that they do really have some objective difficulties with airmail delivery (because of high load of office in Christmas) and they suggested to send me the order via EMS for their own money. I agreed on that.

Ten days latter I received the order. Courier delivered it me right to my door.

So, I should take back my blame on them. Looks like they are reliable and really take care about their customers. No reasons to worry for money, while shopping with them. But while ordering with airmail you should be prepared for delays, because of troubles with china post offices. Next time I'll use ems for shopping.
