Homebrew .3ds file not working in gm9?

I have enough storage, but I can't copy, verify, build to cia, or decrypt/encrypt the .3ds file at all. I also made sure read only wasn't selected. Would there be a way to fix this?

Does the filename show up when using the 3ds-to-cia converter?

Are you sure its not a .3dsx file?
