Actually I wasn't aware the game existed on mobile until you mentioned it. If you like you can upload a copy of your save game here and I'll take a look at it. At the very least, it'll give me an idea of how much work may be involved.

Please don't mind the coins and casino tokens, its just I tried to install a currency mod hoping it could somehow help me. Nonetheless, I still played for 87 hrs. most of it were just grinding the heck out yet I only reached lvl 50 in ave. Mobile version removed all monsters on map except the recruitable so farming for exp. is like a nightmare. I would be really happy and grateful if there is in some way you can help me.
🙇🙇🙇

Thanks for uploading the save game. I had a look at it and unfortunately the save formats are drastically different (they're not remotely compatible). Which would mean essentially starting from scratch with regards to figuring out how the data's organised. I don't mind doing that, but unfortunately I don't have an Android device. I was hoping what needed to be changed would be obvious, but unfortunately I'll need to get a hold of a copy of the game and a platform to test on before I could help you.

No problem sir! Kinda sad but it's a selfish request in the first place anyway. Thanks for taking up your time looking up on it!🙇👍 Guess just have to grind or just drop the game since farming on mobile vastly differ and harder vs PlayStation version

No worries. One possible solution is for you to use an application similar to CheatEngine for Android. I'm not sure what's available however, and be careful you don't end up downloading malware. You could potentially modify your save in an emulator if you wanted to play it safe, but it seems like a lot of effort.

Hello. I'm trying to port a US save file to a EU 3ds, can I do that with your tool? As far as I know the only thing that needs to be done is change the game id in the save file for the EU console to recognize it (the two versions have different game ids).
Thanks!

Yes you can :) To do so, do the following:

1. Make a new save file on your EU 3DS.
2. Copy this save file to your computer and load it with the save editor.
3. Make a note of the 'Device ID'.
4. Load your US save file. Paste the 'Device ID' you copied earlier and hit save.
5. Copy this edited save file onto the EU 3DS.

Please let me know if it works or if you have any trouble.

It worked perfectly! Thanks :D

A note for the readers: the tool won't read .sav files, you'll need to use the Checkpoint app on your 3DS to dump it as a .bin file, then use it again when you are done to restore it so your game can read it.

Is it wrong that the one thing I don't like is that the items I cheat in aren't in the Items Collected list? Or am I doing something wrong?

You could even download ILSpy and decompile it - it will give you the original source code so you can compile it yourself :)
I didn't know about this possibility thanks for the tip, I'm having problems running Final Fantasy 3 Thundaga Save Editor on W10 because of false positive, I'll try your tip.

Hello there, I'm having trouble restoring the edited save file back into the game through Checkpoint.
The game just says that "No previous data could be read". Does anyone know how to fix this ?
Thanks in advance.

Yeah I do, and I also tried to restore that but to no avail.
Maybe it's because I'm trying to restore the save to the cartridge ?
Don't think that's the problem. I never actually used checkpoint. But there is other apps that can restore save data to cartridge. FBI installer, Godmode9, SVDT. It's possible that maybe corrupt files even.

If you don't mind, upload your backup save data here, I'll see if it works on my game. Just put it into a zip archive and click "attach files" :ninja:

Ok, here's my backup save (before I edited it).
