The information such as how the GPU acts seems to be much convenient for a emulator developer.

Yep seeing you're lack for some information, I would share some (Recently got from contact).

I got checked my email this day and found HIM replied it. HE gave me two other access, and i picked the paypal.
I've sent him 2.50USD and now waiting for his confirmation. If confirmed i will spare a little more yep.

I suddenly got a question. that Lab, "EAG" seems to have many branches overworld.
Yep There's one Chinese branch in Shanghai.
If that service is also provided in its Chinese Branch, Will the price be cheaper?
[Considering the currency exchange rate: 100USD =>>= 649RMB]
If there isn't, will there be any other branches can do this for us?
(And yes cheaper, also take that rate into calculation.)

Well but there's another half to go.
I'll waiting for them to update the number. it has been 1059.05 for several days now.

Just because they have hacked the device doesn't mean we wouldn't learn any valuable information by decapping it. By decapping it there is the potential of finding more exploits, not to mention it would help with eventually emulating the system.

Thanks for reply. However i'm getting tired of waiting that number to change. It can't just that much now.
there may be Someone else has already donated a few, waiting that signal to inform others that the access for donating is not blocked.

Yeah i'm also wondering how can one help them without a dev unit.
I saw there is someone posting his findings on 3dbrew on 22nd. If there is way to develop..

Updates aren't gonna' change the hardware.

3ds update can never change something stored in ROM that of hardware.
So It can not be patched.
THERE may be something interesting in chips, also in ROM.
at least if fully analysed one device's chips we may help build an emulator easier.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can the decapping reveal some possible exploits, that are "unusable" because of the update?
