Huh, my analog works fine but my buttons seem to have a lot of difficulty mapping. Following standard procedure, the touchscreen, analog, down on the d-pad registered as 6 on v-joy, and Y as 1, 4, and 5 on v-joy.
It states in the .exe that it cannot read settings files, using default key binds.
Your V-Joy has less than 16 buttons (8 by default) Some may not work!
I've tweaked with the .ini configuration files more times than I can reckon, ran it through visual studios and notepad, ensured it wasn't a txt file and everything was formatted correctly and got it to work a couple times up to JOY6, but as soon as I close it and re-open it, it no longer functions.
I'm using 6.0 3dscontroller but had to use Vjoy 2.1.9 because practically all other versions would fail to install despite various extensive tweaking. I haven't got it to work in awhile, I've competely deleted all files related to 3dscontroller and reinstalled everything, no dice. I've come to the assumption it has to be some sort of incompatibility between the two versions. Strange, it seems this program isn't very happy with Windows 11, or in general for newer computers.
