Feedback 3ds charging issues

Hi all

I just bought a new Nintendo 3DS XL animal crossing limited edition from eBay.

I got lucky it turned out to be a dual ips display.

Been testing it and the charge light keeps going out before the system is fully charged.

I know this because the battery was nearly drained by the time I got it and from experience I know it takes a couple of hours to charge fully from my other 3ds.

I even replaced battery but still charge light goes off before being fully charged but battery indicator still shows charging icon. If I unplug and plug it back in it charging light remains on for a couple of minutes not seconds and then goes off after about 5 to 10 minutes.

Please see picture attached to understand what I'm talking about.

Please advise what could be the problem

I have the exact same problem except that ive had my old 3ds for close to 7 years

I bought a 3DS XL a few years ago and the battery seems fine, but when playing online it seems that it drains faster due to the WiFi feature being enabled.

Still, it's totally worth it as I love playing MK7 against other users and it's free to play online. No stupid subscriptions or anything.
