So about a week ago I decided to try to install ctf on my 3ds. To my surprise when I decided to open up the home brew app it wasn’t working. So then I deleted the some folders that were resently download for the ctf. By the time I put in the sd card back into the slot, it wouldn’t turn on and it gives me a flashing blue. I’d tried using a magnet but when I press start, select,X and power the blue light flash’s but it only lasts until after I take my hands off the buttons. If anyone has any fixes please help.

Sorry I meant cfw. No it wasn’t but I did have the files on sd card before it went dead

  1. Take a different, spare SD card other than the one you used for that 3DS. The smaller it is, the better. 4 GB size is the sweet spot.
  2. Copy everything off the card onto a computer, and reformat it as FAT32 + 32 KB cluster size.
  3. Download Luma3DS v9.1 and put the boot.firm on the root of the card.
    • You will need a program like 7-Zip or WinRAR to open the archive.
  4. Reinsert the SD card into the 3DS, turn it on, and hold (Select) button. Does yours boot up with Luma3DS v9.1 configuration?
