Hardware 3ds american charger 220V 50Hz?

Does the 3ds american charger support 220V 50Hz? I am thinking of importing the 3ds xl from US. My Ds lite didn't support 220V 50Hz so I had to order a new charger again. So please can anyone help?

No. The official US charger supports only 100 - 120V, 60 Hz.

or you could buy USB charger.
I had same problem with you except 3ds part, it's a DSi XL
US version comes with 110v adapter.

instead buying chinese/compatible adapter I prefer getting usb charger, it handy since my computer is always on
and probably easier to find computer at public places.
