Great games. They should of released before this holiday.
I know im getting re and mgs.
OP should add release dates.

Luigi's Mansion 2, why people want it boggles me. The first one was really a "classic"?

Animal Crossing has never been my thing.

Heroes of Ruin is mildly interesting. Still, it's a dime a dozen dungeon crawler, and if I'm spending my dime, it'll be on Ruin. It's two letters shorter so I can type it easier and it's on a system I'm actually interested in.

Kid Icarus: Uprising: I don't know, looks alright. Kid Icarus has still been out of commission for like 20 years and I think there's a reason behind it.

Beyond the Labyrinth, seen nothing on it honestly. Never looked interesting. Everyone's like "OMG THE VISUALS" but I could just look at beautiful screenshots of Gravity Daze instead.

RE: Revelations, needs more RE in it. Should be called Resident Evil Resurrected: Revelations: The Return Reanimated. But yeah, Resident Evil hasn't exactly thrilled me since 4. Well, only with 4. 5 was disappointing and the last game I can think of since then was what, Mercs 3D?

Paper Mario, I don't know. Only played Super Paper Mario which was a load of crap. Bowser's Inside Story was good though, why not return to that? Partners in Time though was also a load of crap so avoid that.

Time Travelers, I've never found Level 5 as interesting as everyone else.

Tales of the Abyss, it's a Tales of game so pass.

Mario Tennis, I've never been into sports games but there's a pretty definitive line between Camelot Mario sports games and everything else.

Snake Eater 3D is basically a running joke now. As if a HD Collection with 4 more games for only $10 more wasn't enough, they're already making a HD Collecton for the Vita with MGS2 and 3, in HD, for probably just as much as Snake Eater 3D. Went from an impressive tech demo to a load of crap, pass.

Layton has never been my cup of tea.

Fantasy Life, again, Level 5, not interested.

Rhythm Thief looked mildly interesting, nothing I'd buy the system for.

Bravely Default, what kind of name is that? Sounds like a joke headline for a credit crisis.

Tekken 3D is like any other Tekken game to me: incredibly boring. Pass.

Rayman Origins, I got the Vita version with better visuals, hurrah.

Fire Emblem, unfortunately my love of SRPGs has died with an influx of them on the market. They have been doomed to eternal boredom to me. Pass.

Monster Hunter Tri G, I didn't even like Monster Hunter Tri. I'm not huge into Monster Hunter but Tri felt really cut down. I think more people of hyped on the prospect of Tri G making the 3DS sell a lot than the actual game.

Theatrhythm looks bad. That's all I have to say. Go back to making the better FF spinoffs, Square Enix! Dissidia was fine, Crystal Chronicles of fine, why do we need what looks to be a poorly put together rhythm game?

Kingdom Hearts blaaaaahhh. Can't even finish saying a Kingdom Hearts game without blaaaaah coming out of my fingers.

Crushed 3D, I can just play the PSP version.

Most of the stuff probably won't get localized anyway I'm thinking. Definitely not making me switch camps anytime soon.

*snip*
For once I ask you, must you post everything negative on a 3DS page? I really don't understand. Even if it's not your cup of tea you can't say something like BAHHHH GRAVITY RUSH IS BETTER. Obviously Vita blows 3DS out in terms of graphics but Beyond the Labyrinth really does have good graphics on the 3DS itself.

I guess I should lower my standards for lower hardware. God, what has this whole "HD IS BAD" fad done to us? I cut the Wii a whole series of breaks for being streets behind in terms of hardware but my basket of sunshine has run out here.

Also, the thing I said "wasn't my cup of tea" was the one thing I didn't even baww about. I said it wasn't my cup of tea because it's not. On numerous occasions I've praised Layton games for the quality but said I don't like them because they're not my cup of tea. Simply a genre I'm not interested in.

Resident evil: revelations = looks good and its a new resident evil game and even IF its a let down i still kinda wanna play it just to follow the story and how it ties in with the other games. (Im a big RE fan)

Tales of the abyss = Never played the original and iv read alot of people really like it and put it as one of the better tales of games so i will be getting this.

Monster hunter tri g = If it gets positive reviews and has online co-op then its a solid maybe. If no online or bad reviews then its a no.

theatrhythm: final fantasy = So help me it looks really cheesey but iv always loved final fantasy music and i do enjoy reaction rythem games so if i have cash to spare i will get this.

I have no interest in the others but the 3DS is slowly starting to be more appealing

I'm not sure if this list is US only(seeing as MH and FE are there I'm guessing not)but you missed out on quite a few important titles which are either confirmed or probably coming out in 2012
There's PL vs AA,KAIO,harvest moon and rune factory(both confirmed for 2012 release),Zoo keeper 3d(first one was a pretty good puzzler),that new DQ game, and some other shit I probably forgot about.Otherwise great list, and some great titles coming for the 3DS.Also for some reason I remember people complaining about Heroes of ruin having bad graphics but that screenshot looks amazing

I'm not going to comment on the other titles you mentioned, since you might have a different opinion than mine and I understand how you might not like the other titles, but I'd like to clear some things up.RE:R looks like it might be a comeback for the series. It removes that co-op bullshit from the main campaign, brings back the focus on survival horror(a genre that's starting to die today)and looks like it'll have a pretty good story line.As for paper mario, the wii one resembles the other games only in name and art style, everything else is almost completely different. The previous RPGs were god like, and The thousand year door is the best mario RPG period.
As for the Mario tennis thing my hype for the game flew up the second I heard it was being made by camelot

Personally,I'm excited for BD,motherfucking fire emblem,ToA,HoR,and paper mario. The 3DS needs a surge of good RPGs

It removes that co-op bullshit from the main campaign

Okay, now I'm interested.

brings back the focus on survival horror(a genre that's starting to die today)

Eh, I liked 4 a lot and everyone says it's not really that scary. Mind you I really don't like scary games (I've played a few and enjoyed them but most of them either aren't focused on scares or I've played with friends as a party thing).

and looks like it'll have a pretty good story line.

I'll be honest, I never knew people actually played Resident Evil for storylines.

I'll be honest and say I've never played a Paper Mario RPG. I played Super Mario RPG and Bowser's Inside Story to an extent but quit on Superstar Saga and Partners in Time for just being snorefests or plain bad.

As for the Mario tennis thing my hype for the game flew up the second I heard it was being made by camelot

It is? I really didn't know, Mario sports games recently have been a pile of shit. I remember picking up Mario Sports Mix (well, "downloading", not picking up) and just cringing at how much of a pile of hot, steamy shit it was.

The survival horror thing might not interest everyone, but it does please the fans.Plus it brings more focus on solving puzzles, item usage, ammo planning...Also RE 4 is by no means bad,it's one of my favorites in the series
I don't think anyone plays RE games for the story but ti's a nice addition right?
And I agree mario sports mix was a pile of shit, but it was handled by square enix, with the last mario sports game handled by camelot being Mario Tennis: Power Tour which was pretty good
Also sorry for the incomplete post,my browser screwed up

and looks like it'll have a pretty good story line.

Its one of the VERY few games that i actually read ALL the "notes" to follow the story. The early ones such as 2/3/CV had really interesting story backgrounds and motivations of the characters if you care enough to search for every note. Plus its nice that the writers actually put the effort in coz they must know most people will ignore it yet they still do it.

To me, RE having a true storyline would be awesome. Especially you know what you're playing for instead of just killing.

The only fad that present is "Not HD? Shovelware/casual junk not worth my time. Let me grab my shooter and compare small strands of grass". Pretty much
HD Shooters > everything else and hate on everything Nintendo with some very bad reasoning and excuses false/fake group of people which
may actually killing the jrpgs games for us.

Even if you think wii 3rd party is lacking 'cause it doesn't exactly get all the games of the other console, Nintendo proves time and time again that you didn't
need super/overpowered devices to make good games.

You should be tired of the same thing over and over again. Nintendo trying let you have a different experience with your gaming/games and all you do is bash and troll them.

It awesome to experience glasses 3d on the go with my games with a fair amount of power which will hopefully keep game prices down.

Sorry, speaking in general not exactly at you. :P

Actually the 2012 3ds line is showing that with 3rd party support. Specially Capcom even if they did some untrustworthy things to hurt their reputation
as a company in my eyes.
Hopefully it keeps up and somehow appeal to more people.

Most of these games I like on the list.

I may have to agree with guild with MGS tho...

I'm definitely getting Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion, Paper Mario and Kingdom Hearts and Resident Evil :)

Other faves also include Metal Gear and Mario Tennis.

Geez Nintendo...you sure like to make us poor don't you? :D

Most of these games I have no real interest in, but theres enough here on top of some of the awesome games already out (Zelda, Starfox, Pilotwings ect.) to convince me to buy one of those Zelda styled 3DS's. Maybe even two and I'll keep the second as a collectors item unopened :). My wanted list would be

-Luigi's Mansion 2
I loved Luigi's Mansion on Gamecube. It was one of my first Gamecube games and when I first got it I was a little young and couldn't figure out how to get through the game, but after getting a strategy guide it was awesome. I've played through it several times now. The game had a very original gameplay and I loved it. You had ghoasts with an identity that were so much fun to suck up in your vacumme cleaner. Some of the faceless ghoasts that popped out of the ceiling were pretty annoying though.

-Paper Mario
RPG's had next to no competition on the N64. We had Paper Mario, Quest 64 and some other shitty game. Apart from Paper Mario being the top RPG (which doesn't say much for the N64) it also became one of the best games on the system. The graphics were even better than Wave Race and the gameplay was just awesome. You got to collect badges, had partners, cooking food and all these different elements just combined perfectly. I didn't like Thousand Year Door so much I never even finished it and Super Paper Mario went in the wrong direction. Apart from the Paper graphic style it had nothing to do with the previous games making it my least favourite of the three. I couldn't say my hopes are all that high for the 3DS one, but it goes back to the way Paper Mario should be, so its worth keeping my eye on.

-Tales of the Abyss 3D
I'm no huge tales fan, but after playing through Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Phantasia (PS1 version) I can say I like it and it's worth trying this one out.

-Fire Emblem
I'd longed to play Fire Emblem ever since playing Super Smash Bro's Melee. Then one day at Target I found FE7 on display. Instant buy. What wasn't there to like about this game? Apart from maybe the random stat gains when levelling up often causing good characters to turn shit after a while and having to replay chapters to relevel them. We had all sorts of different classes, spots like woods to raise your evasion, awesome critical hit animations... it just goes on. The best aspect was definately the story by far. You had the main story, gaiden chapters and each character had their own story that you could look into through support conversations. FE7 was always my favourite, but I've played through all the games which were released in English except Radiant Dawn. I'm not expecting FE 3DS to compare to FE7, but it should still be fun to play.

I'm excited for Kid Icarus, Luigi's Mansion 2, Kingdom Hearts, Paper Mario, and Animal Crossing.

I've never played more than a few minutes of a Final Fantasy game (I sort of know the characters from Kingdom Hearts though) but I love music and rhythm games so I'll probably get Theatrhythm too. Doesn't look like I actually need to know much about Final Fantasy for that.
