I think you need to reinstall ninjhax for the new browser version you have.

Yup, I checked N3DS.

Ow and the correct version number is: 9.5.0-22 for latest working Emunand FW for N3DS
(9.5.0-23 could work aswell, but i'm not sure about that, you lose spider exploits on this version)

If this firmware doesn't excist it will grab the first firmware under it (Example 7.0.3-13 becomes 7.0.0-13)

...I should've gotten 9.5.0-23 then (strange, I googled for 9.5.0-24 and some people claimed to have it). I don't care for Spider Exploits on my EmuNAND, but if 9.5.0-23 isn't Gateway compatible at all that might explain the blackscreens.

Correct version numbers for (N)3DS are:

9.0.0-20
9.1.0-20
9.2.0-20
9.3.0-21
9.4.0-21
9.5.0-22
9.5.0-23
9.6.0-24
9.7.0-25

As I said before, I also tried 9.4.0-21 but for some weird reason my EmuNAND became 9.3.0-21.

That's when I gave up and just used Xenoblade.

The settings shown in red are important -> this will download 9.5.0-22 Firmware for Europe and for New 3DS (XL) (Don't use it on OLD 3DS (XL))

It must contain the 3 letters for your region (EUR for Europe / USA for America / (I think) JPN or for Japan / KOR for Korean, etc...) if you don't or use less then 3 it will download the USA version i think?

In the folder you placed 3DNUS you will now see a new folder with alot of CIA files

Thanks for all those screenshots! Unfortunately I did everything exactly like you showed and still didn't succeed.

So my assumptions are:
- 9.5.0-23 is not Gateway compatible at all
- 3DNUS fails to download the correct files for 9.4.0-21

Hey guys. I just stumbled onto this great tool and I was wondering if anyone can let me know if it potentially fix a mistake I made earlier.

I was following a guide to do a region swap on a Japanese New 3DS to convert it to an American New (non xl) 3DS, and when I finished I was no longer able to boot some of the firmware hacks. I can't boot into the gateway launcher, and I can't run Ninjhax, but I can run the FBI installer, so it is strange what works and what doesn't. The reason I believe it doesn't work is because I may have deleted too many titles. During the guide, there are instructions to delete any titles that end with either J or P. I ended up deleting the ctr-p-ctap at the bottom of the list, and I believe that's why I have a semi functional system.

Would this tool be appropriate to get those titles back? My system is currently running 9.1U. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Hi, I wanted to know how to update my firmware using this program. my emunand is on 8.1 now and i want to update it to 9.7 because gateways rom loader is broken on 9.8. i was able to download the firmware but when i tried to install all the cia, i got a message saying that one of the cia is already installed and cant be installed again. i manually installed them all except those few but when i checked my emunand firmware it was 9.8. Can anyone help please?

if you have a O3DS, the latest version of GW already supports firmware 9.8 (latest) in emunand.

I cant seem to download the firmware update files...it says download complete and a folder shows up but its always empty...any way to fix it?

I've been going through this thread and I'm pretty sure this does what I want.

I switched my 8.1J N3DS to 9.2U and want to get 9.5U emunand working on it for use with GW.

I guess the part I am confused about is what the simplest method would be to acomplish this. From reading posts here it seems like you just need to download 9.5.0-22 and install the cia? Or is it more complicated than that?
