I got complete NAND backups, I don't think I require FIRM files unless I'm missing something.
Also, why flash the game to sysNAND with GW?
Seems like the easiest way to get the game(s) installed to sysnand without CN or a gateway card. This way you can prepare everything you need in the relative safety of an emunand and then flash it to sysnand when you're sure it works.

Does anybody notice the 9.2U update only updates you to 9.0? Please.
Hello myself :p

Well myself, it's not your (my) imagination. Yellows8s title update list was incorrect in that it listed the JPN titles under the "All" region for the 9.2 update. That explains 3dnus not downloading the correct titles.

Edit: its easy enough to fix by manually replacing the correct Cver and Home Menu, the only titles updated from 9.0 to 9.2.

I tried updating my new 3DS XL to the 9.5 Emunand, which ended up in a disaster..
I get a lot of errors when all the CIA files are done.
Lot's of these errors

import failed file: 000400xxxxxxxxx
level status -7
invalid argument

module nn_am(32)
description already exists.

Anything I can do?

ok, read 18 pages, and still not getting anywhere.
I downloaded the 9.5.0-23 USA version (105 CIA files)
tried installing them with Devmenu, and getting lots of errors and ended up with the black screen in the EMUNAND

How can I install it properly?
I see something about the update CDN program.. does that the same thing? and I assume that needs to be installed for Emuand.

Also, I have Emunand and Sysnand separated, so I don't have the gift wrapping bug.

the New 3DS is currently on 9.0-20 U

My Step´s

1. Downloadet Complete Firmware whit 3dnus as Cia
2. I Packed all Cia in a Folder named updates
3. I Downloaded Sysupdater 0.3
4. I Installed Sysupdater 0.3 whit Pbt
5. I Started Sysupdater in PBT And Press A
6. Cia Install Beginning
7. After Finish it´s Reboot and i´m o a Updatet Sysnand.

Up to 9.2.0 you can use Spider Exploid to enter Gateway on 2/3DS (XL).

Anyway, when there are so many Questions and you are unsure... stop messing around or you might end up with brick or worse.
I sucesfully managed to perform my whole plan. Νο bricks, and I can still boot GW via webkit to inject my 4.5 NAND.
I have installed Pokemon AS without using any sort of flashcard. Now to make a guide....

Yes! sysupdater did the trick! thanks

I used v1.9 to update my European 9.2 N3DS XL. Unfortunately it didn't work for me.

Title ID: 9.5.0-24
Version: EUR
Don't change version numbers
Pack as CIA
Imported all (105) CIA files using Big Blue Menu
---> Bricked my EmuNAND

Title ID: 9.5.0-24
Version: EUR
Don't change version numbers
Pack as CIA
Imported all (105) CIA files using sysUpdater 0.3
---> Bricked my EmuNAND

Title ID: 9.4.0-21
Version: EUR
Don't change version numbers
Pack as CIA
Imported all (103) CIA files using sysUpdater 0.3
---> Updated my EmuNAND to 9.3.0-21 instead of 9.4.0-21

No idea why it didn't work. I got a lot of "Already installed" messages when it installed the titles, but I assume that's normal? I finally gave up and updated to 9.4 using a Xenoblade 3DS ROM.

Did you try sysUpdater (in emuNAND)?

Did you check N3DS??? (when you don't it downloads O3DS updates)
Ow and the correct version number is: 9.5.0-22 for latest working Emunand FW for N3DS
(9.5.0-23 could work aswell, but i'm not sure about that, you lose spider exploits on this version)

Correct version numbers for (N)3DS are:

9.0.0-20
9.1.0-20
9.2.0-20
9.3.0-21
9.4.0-21
9.5.0-22
9.5.0-23
9.6.0-24
9.7.0-25

See screenshot for correct settings for a working N3DS emunand update to 9.5.0-22:

The settings shown in red are important -> this will download 9.5.0-22 Firmware for Europe and for New 3DS (XL) (Don't use it on OLD 3DS (XL))

It must contain the 3 letters for your region (EUR for Europe / USA for America / (I think) JPN or for Japan / KOR for Korean, etc...) if you don't or use less then 3 it will download the USA version i think?

In the folder you placed 3DNUS you will now see a new folder with alot of CIA files

I always get the following error. Any ideas?

"Import failed. File: 0004001000021000.cia This cia is invalid. (0xD8E08027)"

This is in emunand 9.4 which was previously updated via rom.

3DNUS isn't downloading the files for me.
I've configured as @DjoeN said but it only shows "Downloading titlelist complete" and stops right there.

I'm using the 1.9 version. No firewall blocking, nothing.

Any help?

Thx!

EDIT1: I completely shutdown my firewall and antivirus, and ran the program as admin before trying to download and still nothing.
Could it be a server error with 3DNUS, or something like this?

EDIT2: 3DNUS 1.8 does not work as well.

EDIT3: I figured out the "issue". It was an interface problem :D between the program and the keyboard, meaning, me :P as silly as it sounds like, I was typing 9.5.0.22 instead of 9.5.0-22 (dot instead of a dash).
Problem solved!
