It's as permanent as any installed title. But if she updates then yes, the browser is going to be updated as well. Unless she manages to update to 9.4, then it'll still use 4096.

If you update your emuNAND same thing applies. Could be easier to downgrade the browser in an emuNAND though. (Might be able to decrypt the fat16 partition and manually change files around seeing as you already have the tickets for the browser. Never bothered trying it myself though.)

As long as the sysNAND is on an exploitable* version then you can always just run FBI or whatever to upgrade -or remove and install older versions of- the browser. But 4096 is the last time it was updated until 9.5 when the webkit stuff was fixed so you aren't going to need a newer version.

*As in gateway or Ninjhax exploitable

also my conection is by a proxy. does 3dNUS v1.9 is proxy conection compatible????

I have not been able to download any title.

for example:
I put in title ID field: 0004001000021000 9.0
I check NEW 3ds checkbox and Pack as .CIA check box
I put in version: 8203 or v8203

and doesn´t work, that´s why I think it is related to proxy conection compatibility

0004001000021000 9.0 is what you put in the TitleID box? Because that's not going to work. You don't need the 9.0, just the TitleID (0004001000021000). And for the version don't put the "v", just the numbers. (eg. 8203)

Also, ignore the new/old 3DS option unless you want to download the whole firmware. (eg. 9.2.0-20)

Since gateway allows to use the exploit profile DS, I have installed the new system menu in .cia. I want to backup the file .cia of menu system 9.0 for the new 3DS.

I found only the .cia 9.0 for old 3ds this one: 0004001000021000 , so what is new code for new 3ds ?

Just thought I should mention in case anyone else is looking for this info, but this does work on Linux using Wine. I used it to downgrade my browser.

Delete the browser's Title ID from your nand and try i had to do the same thing, i can't even use 3DNUS for updating FW because the 3ds refuses to install any .cia that already exists and with no way to locate all of them to manually to delete and install im pretty much stuck.

I have been trying to install 9.0-9.2J with 3dnus on my emunand for ages to reflash back to sysnand but everytime i install the .cia's it skips titles that already exist and comes back with a black screen after a reboot, i tried with the newest gw 3.2.1 launcher and same problem.

According to 3DBrew, that is the ID of the USA system settings, the version that came with firmware 9.0.0-20...
Don't know why you can't downlaod it :/

Use NTR 2.0 if you have an N3DS or use the code.bin to spoof system version if using an O3DS. Then just open eShop and download all the updates you want.

That will update the browser without any issues. You've already done all you needed to in order to make it as safe as can be.

It will just overwrite the title as it's an old version. If it was somehow newer than the new update's it would be ignored.

Not sure if you need anything else but I doubt it. The AR Code stuff wasn't using anything but the browser. Not sure about Spider3DSTools as I've never used it, betting same requirements as ARCodes.

Maybe it can't be used in emunand? I've only used mine to grab game updates and then stopped because the FW spoof hack lets me use my 9.2 sysnand for eshop.
