That's correct. And a firmware update can't fix it, only a hardware revision can.

You could possibly downgrade without DSIWare as it is Kernel11 execution, but don't quote me on that. A dev just needs to make a homebrew to exploit and downgrade.

Yes, you can use ctrhttpwn with musichax, since it is just like any other exploit.

True custom firmwares. As in, modified firmware files that change the entire home menu to something else, patched signature checks without the need for Luma or any other current firmwares, and so on.

I don't think it's really any better than arm9loaderhax as far as brick prevention, but a9lh is the next best thing to a hardmod already.
