question 1: how do i fully make a custom theme? i have the app for making them AND i set pictures to the right size needed but for some odd reason when i try to import the picture, it gives me this error: "the image is not a power of 2." what the heck does that mean!!??? i set everything up right. how do i fixit to NOT give that error?
Question 2: when i try to use chmm2 shuffle mode. when i set all the themes i want it to shuffle between, it doesn't say "installing theme(s)/theme loadout" it just goes back to base. what am i doing wrong? Question 3: when i try to swap a theme with chmm2 it keeps the last bgm from the previous one.. Help?

1: Are you using 24bit images?
2: Are you doing this on SysNAND with themehax installed?
3: Are you keeping all your themes in their own respective folders or are you just dropping them in a single folder?

Images can either be 8bit, 24bit, or 32bit. This determines the amount of colors that their palate can use.

Are you using YATA to make these themes?
If yes, try to open an original theme and export the images. When you try to edit them you'll see a line where the pixels start to repeat. That is the size of the image you should use. But dont crop the image to this size. Thats just the area you can use

I recommend Adobe Fireworks. Much simpler than anything I've used. MS Paint is a nightmare for actual designing.

Thats what I was trying to say. But depends if you want a single top screen or a rolling screen.

You just open a theme and select if if you want either top or lower screen. Then on the options I think there is a export image buttom

You can use mspaint if you want, but you have to keep the margin just as it is.

The same with the botom/ scrolls screens
