Ok I'm looking to update my PSP to 4.01 M33-2 via WiFi and I have a question.

Will I go straight to 4.01 M33-2 from 3.80 M33-5 if I update via WiFi?

Is what safe?

If you are talking about upgrading from an earlier CFW to a newer CFW via WiFi I don't know yet I'm charging my Pandora Battery just in case something goes wrong

If you do it via wifi and follow all the instructions (including downloading the OFW eboot) nothing should go wront.

Does the OFW eboot (I take it you mean the 401.pbp file) need to be downloaded before initiating an upgrade?

It'll detect if you have it or not, if you don't have it when you initiate the update, it'll download it for you.

Cripes that took awhile to download why didn't you tell me the PSP can only do 8KB/sec

Even 2 feet away from my wireless modem it went sloooooooooow

It finished and I was informed my battery was below 78% and it shutdown

Ok I've successfully upgraded to 4.01 M33-2

Now for some post-upgrade questions.

1) Now that I've updated to 4.01 M33-2 through WiFi can I delete the update folder it created?

2) Also while running 3.80 M33-5 I seem to have acquired some new folders in my \PSP\ directory can I delete these? (GAME150 & GAME380)

3) Can anyone tell me that latest version of the best Super Nintendo Emulator?

4) Can anyone tell me that latest version of the best Sega Genesis Emulator?

1. Yes.
2. As DAX has officially stopped support for the 1.50 kernel, you can delete all GAME### folders.
3. Snes9x TYL

EDIT:
So I've been messing around with my CFW PSP and it seems that I am unable to get into the recovery menu! I felt no need to do so in the week since I have upgraded to CFW but now I was reading one of the stickies and about PSOne Emulation and I have a few games I'd like to put on my 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo when it arrives from CorruptJon

So what am I doing wrong (I have already tried shutting down my PSP holding the R button and turning it back on it did not work)

EDIT2: Apparently I never shut down my PSP right cause it works now I just kept putting it in sleep mode instead of turning it off
