Do you think any shipped wiis have this update?
I'm trying my hardest to get money to buy one before 3.3 or 3.4 are preinstalled.
Can anyone confirm for me if shipped wiis have either updates preinstalled?

Haven't most of you learned what patience is from this whole project? You all should've known that Nintendo was going to try and rebel in some way to its constant hacking. Someone said, and I don't remember who it was... but the more they do the smarter the hacker gets. Just like the old saying, what don't kill the Wii only makes the hacked Wii stranger?! (STRONGER) At this point, I don't see anything getting in the way to what is about to happen once cSM and BootMii are released and running on everyone who cares to keep their homebrew and wads intact.
So let's just wait and not be hasty for one of our friendly coders to work the MAGIC.

Well said mate, the best post in 25 pages. BootMii as far as I understand it can't be disabled with a firmware update, and cSM when it's finished will check the author's server (sorry, can't remember who that is!) for updates instead of Nintendo's server much in the same way as DarkAlex has done with his PSP custom firmware. Just don't update, it's not really complicated![]()

Animal Crossing has 3.3v1, so that's not a good excuse.camar3na said:so now instead of buying animal crossing i will have to download the iso and play it with the backup loader? looks like Nintendo has too much money that they don't want mine anymore...

3.3, although hardly ideal, is easily downgradeable so dont worry if you get one.
