followed all steps, and now running 3.2E again from a 3.3E and a 3.4E console (yep i had 2 consoles to attempt)

Thanks afif95, moved my router down the hallway a little and the wii UP towards it the and got a much better signal, was able to complete this through all steps.

Still getting a DVD Read error 324, but I believe that this is due to using a DVD+R, will go out and buy some Verbatim DVD-R's today and test again.

EDIT: Yup, media was the issue. I bought Verbatim DVD-R and this wokred perfectly with ImgBrn. If I can get this working - any fool can. Thanks so much for the help and a great TUT.

I couldn't install Starfall either, and I did exactly as it was told and I'm with 3.2u. As well as I got some errors when I used the IOS Downgrader, but it didn't seem to be any problem though. And I couldn't install the IOS51 either, it said it was succesful and then that failed. o--o can somebody give me a hand?

I followed this tutorial and have successfully changed my console from 3.2J to 3.2U (although when I configured the internet whilst it was still in JAP it upgraded to 3.4J!! - which meant I had to downgrade back to 3.2J) but other than that it works great!!

managed to install Starfall!

It's been a long time since I used this tutorial, it's time for me to make my own thanks speech.

I've been having problems installing WAD not long ago. EoC recommended me to follow his guide, and well, I've been having a lot of "trial and error" sessions. But well, finally it worked out, and I followed his tut again, and thanks to him, I'm finally able to install WADs and finally reached 3.2 .

I just want to say...

I have been following the tutorial step by step.
I completed all the steps but still have 3.4E
The backup game don't load.

One thing I do remember is that I did not get a prompt to choose my region.

Where am I going wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.

You sure you've ran the Dynamic Duo (IOS Downgrader + cIOS Downgrader)?

You didn't explain exactly what happened when you tried to install Starfall, but I had to try it many times. I pressed B+1 several times but the console appeared to think I pressed something else and it did nothing. Only after I pressed B+1 many times (at least 6 or 8 times) did it accept the input properly and proceed. Hope this helps.

i have a problem, i did this softhack four times now all with success
but now i have a wii that came with 3.0E so i installed homebrew channel..
load wad manager. install ios16 prod.wad
then load up Custom WM and install cios_fix

I go to IOS downgrader and when I agree and it asks me to restart the wii no install nothing.
obviously it didnt need it cause it was on a lower version

so i start cIOS downgrader and upgrade to 3.2E

install starfall
Install cIOS installer
install shop channel thing
install backup loader

and i start the backup loader and it just boots back into my wiimenu ..
wont load anything at all...

what is going on?

Got it to work at last1

Followed tut from beginning.

Must have missed a step first time round.
