Hacking 2DS wont boot after unbanning try

Hi,
so I let a person use my personal unbanned local friend code seed b and I sent it through discord.
The problem is it came as a .e file so he made it a normal file by naming it LocalFriendCodeSeed_B thats how they should be named, he did a guide to unban now when he tries to boot he only gets a black screen. What puzzles me is I gave it to another one of my friends and he did the unban but he succeeded and was able to unban.
If anyone could help I would appreciate it

Get him to restore his NAND backup.

If they use menuhax they'll brick. But yea have them restore one of their obviously many nand backups.

Safectrtransfer makes nand backups mandatory now, so it's Most likely a case of how long ago they did it if they installed a9lh before b9s was released.

He can do a 9.2 CTR transfer then. If he only had menuhax or Gateway, he can wait for NTRBoothax.

True. I forgot about this. Hopefully, he has A9LH or B9S.

sorry for being inactive he backed up nand and only found out his SecureInfo_A was wrong so he only injected the friend code seed b and is unbanned

Glad its working again. If the problem is solved, I would recommend reporting the thread and asking it to be locked so it doesn't get bumped later on. We seem to be having lots of those problems lately.
