Hi everyone, I just bought a used 2DS for 30€ that had the volume not changing (it still made sounds, but you couldn't turn it off or make it louder). I thought it would be easy to fix because I assumed I could just put the plastic piece back on the actual volume rocker inside. After seeing that the volume was still not working I opened the 2DS again to take a photo. Here's where the actual problem starts.
For some dumb reason of mine I removed the circle pad just to take a look at it before realizing the ribbon cable is in a really tight spot. I tried to put it on for a while but I ended up breaking off the plastic piece that secured the ribbon cable, it's missing the left part of it and I can't seem to put anything back on.
Any ideas for fixing it or anything else?
Thanks a lot.
Update: I just ripped the ribbon cable of the circle pad trying to fix it.
