Easiest way to format to FAT32 using the 3DS only:
1. Navigate to emunand9 using your current SD Card

2. Eject the current card

3. Put the SDXC in and select
"Complete redNAND setup"

4. It's now FAT32. When it's done, go to Decrypt9 with the old SD Card and format redNAND off the new card (if you want)

Why would someone waste all that time?

You do realize this is way easier and faster, right?
Well, other than the creating redNAND part.
Faster than what? It doesn't take long to format it with a pc. Easier than what? It's like 2 steps on PC, open program, and click format. Well I guess 3 if you count downloading it as a step.
