Hacking 2 gig mini sd sandisk ezflash4

hi,i have done 2x flash carts for my brothers kids with the latest kernel,client and patch. when pressing "A" to start the game it is very,very slow to load,even between the intros. i myself have these flashcarts used before for gameboy.i decieded to try them out with 512mb unbranded and also 1 gig kingston.the results was unreal with faster game loading. just woundering if there is a compatibility issue for 2 gig sandisk on ezflash4 mini sd. must admit i am using this combination on a lite version console. i also have ezflash5 with 1 gig kingston japan and have no slow issues. when i say slow,i mean a very big difference. one of the sandisks has just failed as i type,wont format. cheers
