Well it is actually the best racing (so Stuntman doesn't count) game I played on GBA so far.

It's the only really great 3D racer overall. Very smooth visuals, solid framerate, polygonal properities used of what was on a Saturn title. Game has both an inside and outside car view, and inside gets cracked windshield and has a moving wheel with an active dash. Has a neat car damage and repair setup for it too. Lots of modes, strong gameplay, well handheld controls that are spot on. My only real complaint is that like in many racers the edge of the road really is just that (wall or not) and if you hit it you'll lose speed.

Well either way it's still one of the best racing games out there on the gba. Anyone who hasn't tried this out already should.
And it's not everyday that a US release comes in more than one language.

Lots of 3D games for the GBA, but most of them suck hard. On the other hand, a game like Top Gear Rally is FRIKKIN' amazing. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. I'll have to check out v-rally 3 to see if it can compare.

vrally was alright, it has the best looking tracks, but its car sprites are goddamn hideous, they have them scewed randomly for individual frames, which looks like crap.
inside the car looked pretty cool, but they shouldve made the craks on the window translucent.
and not to mention that mode where you race actual cars, that was god aweful.. if a car came and hit you from behind you got pushed through them to the back.. aweful mode that one..
it was a great game at the time.

Come on, this is the GBA not a PC with a Geforce 6800GT lol

The developers had to do the best with what they had and I think they did a damn fine job :gbasp:
