Hello,
I’m trying to use my 128gb SanDisk phone SD in my “new 3ds”.

I formatted the SD to fat32, 64k clusters and copied all my data from 32gb. gba cia's still work!

But now i experience slowdowns in game. I just did a test on Pokémon, and the loading time between screens (to go to Pokémon-Amie) has increased.

I understand, that with bigger SD, I/O operations take longer, therefore longer loaded times will be a result.
My question is now, do 3ds games so streaming from file, or do they loaded upfront and display?
I have no equipment to messure fps, and would like to know, how does bigger sd impact fps. I can life with longer loading time, but reduced fps will make me go back to 32gb

The SD card should not be related to fps unless the game is like constantly reading from the SD card I guess. Having longer load times is actually interesting since 64kb clusters usually results in a speedup of a lot of things that rely heavily on sd card data...
