--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

maybe it's just me but now it says (Dgtools downgrade) failure opening SD Files.
I already downgraded a lot of 3DS but mine is giving the same error "failure opening SD Files" when using the 11.2 files

ok these are the things everyone needs to check when downgrading 11.2 to 9.2

1) dgTool is the newest version
2) you have all your files in the right spot
3) you are using 10.4 NFIRM files

if this doesn't work, then it is a bug in dgTool

The directory is right cause I can do backup of the files.

I think it is a bug too.

i already checked it and i have same error "failure opening SD Files" for dgTool.

ps I already downgraded a lot of 3DS, i think it's problem about files

^ wow 2 people with the same hobbies lol

anyway, i think we are going to have to wait until this is updated and fixed.

I have the same issue as everyone doing the dsiwarehax downgrade. Hoping for a fix. Thank god I was not the only one.

i see size of firm112_NEW.bin is strange
normal file of firm111_NEW.bin or firm110_NEW.bin is about 4MB
but firm112_NEW.bin is only less than 1MB is it problem?

Hello GBATemp!
Hoping someone here might be able to answer this for me. A friend asked, and I’m not sure if I should tell them to update their EmuNAND as I don’t use Luma v5.5 [And they refuse to update their Luma to the newest stable version, despite my insistence.]

Their setup is this:

Old 3DS XL - SysNAND 9.2 U
No A9LH
LumaDS CFW v5.5 - EmuNAND 11.0 U

They use the Menuhax entry point to launch the Homebrew menu, and then launch Luma3DS to get into EmuNAND 11.0 .

My question is this:

I know their Luma3DS CFW is an older version than the current. [ v5.5]
Is there any compatibility issue with an older LumaDS CFW build if they were to update EmuNAND from 11.0 to 11.2?

I know it’s a longshot since most everyone has updated their Luma but he’s apparently a chicken to update his CFW, even though I offered to do it for him and install LumaUpdater. :\
Just don't want to give him the wrong info.

[I do not have access to my own console atm or I'd just test v5.5 myself. Hoping someone here can help me out!]

TLDR: Is it safe to update an EmuNAND to 11.2 and retain accessibility if your CFW is Luma v5.5?

Thank you!

because everything works just fine. why change a running system?
It is outdated as fuck. Not as bad as rxtools, but I'm surprised much actually "works fine" since luma has had to actually fix several new things. To answer the second: Why would you keep using something like Windows XP on a computer? Yeah, it works, but it is outdated, features are limited, and you don't have support from anyone. It takes less than 5 minutes to just drag files onto your sd card and start using luma. https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Installation-and-upgrade you are probably using an ancient build of reinand, so follow the first block of text.

Actually I can only run Age of Empires II on our old XP computer...
