Hacking 10.7 CFW on n3DSxl help

Look i know im gonna get bitched at to read stickies so lets just skip that and help me out a bit please? I have read stickies and guides, etc. My problem is that i was on 9.9.0-24U and a guide told me to use the browser to go to the yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax site. had to update to use the browser. im now on latest firmware. 10.7.0-32U and said website says my browser version is not supported???

ive tried about 6 times now and does the same thing every time no matter what. So i guess what im asking is, are there any other methods to do this without a game? If not is there some secret trick to this?

can't downgrade without OOTHAX (ocarina of time) or ninjhax (cubic ninja). you really should never ever update your console unless the guide SPECIFICALLY mentions it.

OP, i just saw that you only bought the N3DS yesterday. return it to the store. get a refund or a different one if possible. invent a problem with it if they ask. e.g. screen flickers or something like that. then be patient while hacking the next one. if something isn't clear post in the noobie thread or so. and do NOT update your N3DS.

no. you need to be patient when doing stuff like this. you need OOTHAX. OOTHAX requires ocarina of time. but you need to set up OOTHAX on a 3DS that's on a certain firmware. so unless you got another 3DS i wouldn't advise it. i'd just try to exchange your new N3DSXL for another one. then take it SLOW while hacking it. take your time and read everything twice before doing it.

Just be extra careful not to update past 10.7 (10.8 update expected any day) or you'll likely to completely lose the chance to downgrade.

You'll need a powersaves3ds cheat device to install the hacked ocarina save
or
ds lite/phat + flashcard
or
an already hacked 3ds from a friend

So you're likely going to want to return the 3ds and get a fresh one to save about $40.

There is, it's called a cartridge copy of Ocarina of Time 3D (the budget "Nintendo Selects" release will do) + an Action Replay Powersaves USB dongle + the exploitation work of yellows8.

Well yeah but.. you would be better off getting OOT + powersaves3ds if you don't have smash already. The process is much more straightforward and reliable and will be about the same price overall.
Gamestop should have both powersaves and OOt but check online first. I don't think walmart carries powersaves anymore in stores.
