Hacking 000400102002CA00 and N3DS XL

[Mai85]

Hello! Finally received my N3DS XL and attempting soon the downgrade (already did it on O3DS XL).

Following this guide : also on gbatemp

Do I need to delete 000400102002CA00.Cia on a EUR N3DS XL?

I didn't delete any of the cia files when I downgraded my 10.3 N3DS XL PAL/EUR as far as I'm aware this is only needed if you're using a Japanese one.

Thanks you !

Just make sure you get the PAL/EUR New 3DS update

That title is JPN n3ds specific so in fact you can't find that file in your 9.2 downgrade package. Since Nintendo will probably pushing 10.4 on Tuesday, you'd better do it as soon as possible.

However, I hear you need to remove some files for EUR/JAP when updating to 9.5 emunand. Create a backup of emunand before attempting this, because I hear it can not only brick emunand, but create a frankenstein emunand firmware that prevents a clean update to 9.5

(Dunno which files, just backup, find out which they are, and remove them next time. sorry!)

Also, EmuNAND Tool 1.3 has some weird injection issues. use an older version if it's giving you issues
