Hello there everyone! I just got a ds lite and was simply wondering which card should I buy. I have set my eyes on two different ones.
The first has it's own firmware and seems to have stopped updating. It's the R4-SDHC

The second uses the R4 Wood frimware. That one has a more recent update.

I am also wondering about whether the cards sold by nds-card are clones or authentic, and if anyone has ever had problems with the items not being delivered.
Thank you all very much for your help. :)

For the site, they're good. They're our sponsor, and they always do well. You can trust them to not only deliver what you order, but deliver an authentic version of it. As for your choices, avoid the first one. It isn't worth your time. I would say this:

Go with this one if you want SDHC support, and if you are considering ever using the cart on a 3DS system: http://nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=149

Go with your second choice if you don't mind a lack of SDHC support (so basically 2GB and below only) and the fact that the cart will only work on DS systems prior to the DSi. Otherwise it's the same cart I've used for years and does a great job.

Just a suggestion, but if you ever want a companion slot 2 cart to go with it for GBA...

Just a suggestion, but if you ever want a companion slot 2 cart to go with it for GBA support, the EZFlash 3in1 is a great option, although they don't seem to stock the DSlite sized version, only the full sized that will stick out of the DSlite a bit: http://nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=153
