Hello, about 3 years ago my action replay bricked after updating the firmware. I have tried to fix it using several methods posted on various websites to no avail. I was wondering if it is possible to fix it using just my computer. And if so, is it possible to replace the firmware with something like akaio?

I realize that the ARDS hardware probably doesn't have the capabilities to run backups, but I ask because I would like better cheat support and the ability to slowdown/quicksave games.

Solution
you can't. if you want those better cheat support and that slowdown/quick save games (RTS) go get a flashcart.

well, not any flashcart. there's specific flashcarts with those features (i dont remember...)
