    I already use Linux, just that my main rig is Windows, mainly because there are a handful of apps that can't run on Linux or in a VM. Should I have found an alternative ( or get off my ass and rewrite the app for Linux) i would have switched 20 years ago

    Not sure if I should switch back to Windows on my main machine, there's several apps that I'd like to use more without needing a VM. I'm not going to move immediately, I still have time to use Linux and think about my choices. My IBM ThinkPad will have Fedora or otherwise Arch; a friend created an ISO for me that is free of bloat, unfortunately it's Windows 11, though, and I'll have to make use of it because the hardware that I'm using is missing drivers for Windows 10, such as the wireless capabilities and chipset.

    @lightwo Before you ask, I'm not switching back to Windows entirely on my main machine, I'll still continue to use Fedora mainstream. If I were to install Windows, I'll do it as a dualboot setup. Should've worded that post better, to be honest.

    I just recently learned the name of that title in Japan is "Farm Story: Harvest Moon" making it (afaik) the only Japan title with the name HM

    To be fair, you would be hard-pressed to find an ST fan who doesn't hate Threshold. Everything before the Warp 10 + flight is fine; everything after is where the trash begins. The problem was that it was mid-season 2, they couldn't just get home and had to come up with a reason for it not to be viable, and they picked that. Let's just hope the Paris/Janeway babies don't get brought up in the future ...lol

    Personally I really don't like FF8 and FF13 but I don't go on rants about dislikes for them. If you like something I don't then great let's talk about it. But if you just hate for the sake of something being "different" just stop and walk away. Not everything is made for you.
    I think it just disappoints me that these people who "love" star trek have learned nothing from it
